Hyaluronic acid acts as a humectant, attracting up to 1000 times its weight in water. Non-hyaluronic acid fillers such as Sculptra, Bellafill, and Radiesse are bio-stimulatory fillers because these products stimulate the skin to produce its own collagen, which can result in a longer lasting cosmetic result.
